Acceptance of order

The contract in respect of the products supplied by us to you comes into existence when your order has been accepted by us. For the avoidance of doubt, checkout via our website is considered an invitation from you do business and does not constitute Radiotronics Canada accepting an order.

Digital Goods

Digital goods include downloadable products, virtual products, licences, enablement IDs (feature licence keys) and remote engineering. These do not need to be delivered and are sold inline with online services legislation.

Free Software

Where software is offered for free, you are limited to 3 software purchases or 3 downloads.

Our of Stock Pricing Policy

The price shown on this website is the price of the current stock. If an item ordered is out of stock, Radiotronics reserves the right to cancel that order at no charge to the client.

Specifications, Colours, Weights and Sizes

We reserve the right to alter specifications without prior notice. All sizes and weights are given as a guide only and are approximate. Representations of colour are approximate due to the limitations of photographic and calibrations of different output devices. A name given to a product is not necessarily representative of the colour. All goods are subject to availability. If sold out, free offers may be substituted with an item of the same value.

Logical Alternatives

As a B2B supplier, we know that supplies can be critical. In this uncertain time of component shortages causing a shortage of almost everything, we reserve the right, where an item is canceled by the manufacturer, to deliver a logical alternative of at least equal, if not higher, specification and or value. For example, if a specific antenna has been canceled, we may deliver an alternative that matches the same frequency range. Or, if a specific model battery has been canceled, we will deliver a battery that meets or exceeds the capacity and value of the battery ordered. We take this initiative without asking you. If you're not comfortable with this you must tell us before placing your order.

No Liability Accepted

Radiotronics Canada will not be held liable for any costs incurred to you for delays in manufacturing, delays in delivery or faulty items.

Delivery Terms & Conditions

  1. Orders must be placed by 2 pm Eastern Time for the order to be dispatched the same day.
  2. Items physically in stock will be dispatched the same day in line with condition 1 above.
  3. Whilst most of the items shown in our catalog are in stock, if we have to order an item for you, delivery is subject to lead time.
  4. Non-stock items are ordered specifically for you and are subject to the manufacturer's lead time.
  5. Any free delivery offered is subject to a weight restriction of 50 Kg.
  6. Radiotronics Canada does not part-dispatch orders. If your order contains an item that needs to be ordered in, this is likely to delay the whole order.
  7. Radiotronics Canada does not guarantee a delivery time period.
  8. If you provide us with a wrong delivery address and your goods are signed for by another party, Radiotronics Canada cannot be held responsible for any loss you incur as a result.

International Payments Terms

International payments are considered any payment made to Radiotronics Canada in any currency other than USD from a bank anywhere outside USA.

  • Currency: Radiotronics Canada (Radiotronics UK) only accepts payments in USD.
  • Charges: You are responsible for all bank charges. If a payment has a shortfall because our bank has charged us for your payment, you are required to pay the shortfall before your order will be processed.
  • Exchange: If a payment is made from a currency other than GBP and the payment is returned, the original GBP amount we received will be returned to you. Radiotronics Canada will not be held responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or bank charges levied by your bank.
  • Deferment Period: Radiotronics Canada operates a deferment where payments are held whilst security checks and due-diligence is performed. This can be an unlimited amount of time.
  • Sales Tax: Where sales tax is shown on your quote or order, you must pay the total amount including the sales tax shown. If you do not pay in full, your payment may be considered a shortfall and may be rejected and returned.

Cancellation & Returns Policy

The goods Radiotronics Canada supplies are not primarily intended for personal, family or household purposes. Inline with U.S. and Canadian law, Radiotronics does not allow items to be returned for a refund simply because a client has changed their mind (buyer's remorse).

In exceptional circumstances, we may accept an unwanted item to be returned for exchange. In even more exceptional circumstances we may accept eligible items back for a refund. In any event, goods must be returned in as-delivered condition with absolutely no broken packaging. When items are returned for exchange, the replacement items must meet or exceed the value of the returned goods. When items are returned for a refund we will deduct a restocking fee from the refund amount.

*Eligible items are items over the value of $130 and not mentioned in the exceptions section below.

Cancellation - Order Stage

There may be a deduction from any refund given for cancellation depending on the current stage of your order.

  1. Pending: If your order has not yet been processed, and we confirm your payment method has not yet been charged, the order can be cancelled without any deduction.
  2. Processing: If your order has been processed and your payment method has been charged a combined 10% cancellation charge (which includes the original payment processing bank charge, the bank charge to refund and an administration fee) will be deducted.
  3. Dispatched: If your order has been dispatched, the delivery company has already charged Radiotronics the delivery fee (even if we didn't originally charge you delivery). Therefore we will deduct this delivery cost to us in addition to the above deductions.
  4. Delivered: If your order has been delivered, and the items have been opened, we charge a 15% restocking fee. This is because we have to check the goods and potentially repackage them in order to resell them as new. This is in addition to the cancellation and delivery deductions mentioned above.

Exceptions

There are some exceptions to our returns and cancellations policy. Please read carefully. This section is non-negotiable.

  • Extremely Small Orders: Inline with U.S. law, any item priced under $130 is specifically excluded from our returns policy.
  • Ordered On Request (Available To Order) Items: Where items have been ordered from a supplier specifically for your order, these items cannot be cancelled or returned.
  • Made To Order Items: Items that are manufactured to order cannot be cancelled, even if they have not been dispatched. This is because once a manufacturing order has been placed and manufacturing starts, it can not be stopped.

Specific Exclusions

We are legally entitled to exclude certain items from being returned with genuine reasons. The following items are completely excluded from being returned for cancellation, but some items are returnable under warranty repair (see below).

Warranty

All products sold by Radiotronics Canada are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. At the very minimum Radiotronics Canada requires all of its suppliers to offer a 12-month warranty on electrical goods and a 30-day warranty on accessories. All of our suppliers meet or exceed these minimum standards, with the exception of excluded items.

Warranty Periods

These warranty periods apply to items purchased as brand new, boxed and unopened items only. Any items purchased as b-grade, open-box, ex-demo, used or for parts are explicitly excluded. If you have not explicitly purchased an extended warranty, the standard warranty should be assumed.

Due Care: Items that have become faulty due to misuse or insufficient care may be rejected.

No Extension: Please note any repairs or replacements made will not extend the original guarantee of the product. This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of faulty goods.

Initiate a Warranty Claim

If an item purchased develops a problem during the warranty period, Radiotronics Canada will work with you and the supplier or manufacturer to resolve the problem. Radiotronics Canada will liaise with the supplier or manufacturer to arrange a warranty claim.

The normal procedure is that, provided there is no user damage, the supplier or manufacturer will repair the item. In exceptional circumstances, the supplier or manufacturer may offer a replacement but this cannot be requested and is at the manufacturer's sole discretion. If the supplier or manufacturer suspects user damage, the warranty claim will be invalid and costs of repair will be payable by the client.

To initiate a warranty claim, send an email to sales@radiotronics.ca. We will reply with a returns number and a return address. DO NOT return an item to our address as it will be rejected and you will have wasted your money.

Important: Radiotronics Canada does not pay return postage. Return postage is the responsibility of the client.

No Fault Found: If there is no fault found, some manufacturers have a "no-fault found" charge, and may also charge you a postage charge to deliver the product back to you. We have no control over this; therefore please ensure the manufacturer or ourselves agree that there is a fault before returning the product.

Warranty Quarantine Period

For the safety of our employees and employees of our suppliers, all warranty returnable items are subject to a 14-day quarantine period. This will extend any supplier or manufacturer's normal warranty service level agreement (SLA, normal warranty turnaround time).
