Motorola CLP & CLPe Series 6-Way Charger
Motorola HKPN4007A (also known as HKPN4007, HKPN4007B, and HKPN4007D) is a genuine multi-unit charger that is compatible with the Motorola CLP series radios including the Motorola CLP1010, Motorola CLP1040, and Motorola CLP1060.
Firmware (Iteration) Version: The current version is HKPN4007D which has the latest firmware installed and allows programming and cloning of all CLP model radios.
Charge Options
As shown in the image, the HKPN4007 charger is capable of charging either the radio with battery installed or a spare battery without being inside the radio (not both at the same time). So you can keep spare batteries charged when the radio is in use.
Earpiece Section
The rear of the HKPN4007 has an earpiece section which can be used to tidily store earpieces.
Programming CLP Radios
This innovative charger can also be used to program the Motorola CLP radios. As can be seen in the images, on the back panel there is a 5V connector. To program the radio simply plug in the HKKN4027 programming cable (sold separately) into the 5V connector for the radio slot containing the radio that requires programming and click read or write (as required) on the free programming software.
Cloning CLP Radios
In addition to programming, the HKPN4007A can be used to clone frequencies and settings from CLP to CLP. As seen in the images, there's the word "clone" below the slots that can be used to clone. The charger is supplied with a user guide explaining how to use the clone function.
Wall Mountable
The user can also save space on their office desk or shelf by mounting this charger to the wall. This is a great way to hand out the radios to the staff if placed in an appropriate place.
